Established in 1954 and one of Canberra’s largest, the Goodwin Farrer Aged Care is showing its age and requires an upgrade. The proposed improvements include: Independent Living Units, currently numbering some 73, will be increased to around 150-160; Age Care Units, (63 to about 120) all supplemented with  four and five storey apartment buildings.
