The Woden Valley Community Council made a submission regarding the development application on a proposal for the Woden Bus Interchange. The delegate has now made a decision on that development application. Details of the submission and decision can be read here.

Minister Barr’s response to WVCC representations regarding the redevelopment of the Woden Bus Interchange suggest that (maybe!) we are making some headway!
On the other hand, the revival of Woden 9 suggests that planning on this side of the Town Centre has a long way to go. WVCC believes that the southern part of this site should become a new community hub for Woden Valley.
WVCC has joined with local residents to point out a number of issues with the Tradies DA.
The Woden Valley Community Council has made a submission proposing to the ACT Government that funding be provided to particular initiatives for the 2013-14 financial year. The initiatives include a community centre; Phillip pool upgrade, wetland on Yarralumla Creek and enhanced provision for cycling and walking.
