The Woden Valley Community Council has concerns about this development proposal.

While the WVCC supports development (eg Ivy, the proposal for the Alexander and Albemarle buildings) and welcomes the activity more people in Woden brings, this development is not appropriate for the site. The size and density is too much for Woden and it overshadows residents in Lyons. There is no need for 4 residential blocks (798 apartments) on 1.1 hectare (one of them is a 24 storey tower from Launceston

Housing Choices Discussion Paper – Presentation
