Read more ... →The Woden Valley Community Council (WVCC) has formerly made an objection to the Development Application 201528749 (link to DA page) to demolish the Woden Basketball stadium. This is yet another facility to close in Woden‘s northern precinct that follows on from the lawn bowls, tennis courts and Pitch n Putt. The Woden Basketball courts have been used not just for basketball but also badminton roller derby, has also held markets and been a venue for live bands.
